On Sunday, the 15^th of March 2015 at the Apollo Sports Center the 6^th edition of Kangoo Jumps for Life took place, a charitable sports event organized by the MAME Association together with Kangoo Club Romania. The purpose of this event was to raise funds for children diagnosed with cancer and other grave illnesses who are treated in the Center of Stars, center of support, counseling and medical recovery founded by the MAME Association. The funds raised within the event were 9825 RON. Over 200 people came as much from Bucharest as from other parts of the country to participate in the six training sessions held by Kangoo Jumps national and international instructors and to contribute with donations to raising funds for the children with grave illnesses in Romania.

“The event became a tradition and we are happy to see that, from year to year, more people passionate for movement get involved, this way supporting the activity of the MAME Association. The funds raised within the event will help children diagnosed with cancer and other grave illnesses to benefit from sessions of psychological counseling, medical recovery and emotional art-therapy free of charge” – declared Maria Culescu, founding president of the MAME Association in her speech opening the event.

As a completion to this, Kinga Sebestyén, president of Kangoo Club Romania mentioned: “This year participants from Serbia, Bulgaria, Italy and Hungary joined us. We also had with us Mika Naville, CEO of Kangoo Jumps Head Office who specially came to Romania to meet the MAME Association and to join the Kangoo Club Romania in this charitable sports event that we have organized together. It is an honor for me to cooperate with the MAME Association and to support children with grave illnesses. I am a mother of two children and I want to help as much as I can, this is why I am very happy to have the opportunity to contribute to raising funds with the help of this amazing sport. “

Public personalities like the fashion blogger Carmen Negoita, the Amadeus troup solist Patricia Cimpoiasu, and even Julie Mayaya and Vasilica Ceterasu, participants of the Voice of Romania joined the event, who maintained the atmosphere with shows prepared specially for this event. Also the acrobat Elena Velicu, the KiDance dance school for children and the Sobis Troupe coordinated by Camelia Dinu sustained artistic moments full of energy in the presence of the large public. The hosts of the event were the beloved presenters of the Prima TV channel, Diana Bart and Alexandru Constantin.
